Our Kids are Not Broken: The Importance of Resilience in Both Recovery & Thriving

with Dr. Kenneth Ginsberg

April 27th, 8-4 pm at the Monona Terrace, Madison, WI

Food included in conference fee: continental breakfast, lunch, and snack

Registration Deadline: April 17th

The morning 2-hour keynote will summarize the three foundational frameworks that prepare us to develop children capable of thriving through good and difficult times – positive youth development, resilience, and trauma informed care. A deeper-dive 4-hour session will follow to further explore strategies of strength-based communication in a format that allows for interactive discussions.  It will also offer strategies to work with the young person with somatic symptoms.  It will discuss maintaining therapeutic boundaries even with the youth who need us the most.  Finally, it will introduce “Reaching Teens,” a youth-serving professional toolkit to build strength-based communication skills within clinical offices, schools, or agencies.
