Overview of Workshop
Floor-time is a method of play-based intervention rooted in Stanley Greenspan’s model of Social/emotional growth. It identifies six key stages between birth and four years. This model is a mechanism to engage a child meaningfully at his developmental level in order to meet challenges for the next. The primary premise of this approach is letting the child lead the play while engaging in “playful obstruction” to expand the child’s themes, build a relationship and moves into more play based interventions.

Space is limited, so registration must be received by March 17th.
