WI-AIMH was established in 2001 - not to set up another silo for services, but rather to weave infant and early childhood mental health principles into the fabric of all systems that touch the lives of young children their families. One of our goals is to provide professionals working with young children and their families the knowledge, skills, and relationship-based, culturally sensitive practices that support healthy social and emotional development.
This internationally recognized credential is based on a set of competencies designed to support and enhance culturally sensitive, relationship-focused practice within the framework of infant mental health.
The Reflective Supervision Learning Collaborative (RSLC) is a year-long professional development opportunity for Infant/Early Childhood supervisors to learn, experience, and implement reflective supervision within their programs.
“I'm excited for next year's conference! Thank you for everyone's focus, input and hard work with making this a great success and also for making me, a first time attendee, excited to come back next year. Can't wait to tell my colleagues about this!”
