• Learn the underpinnings of Special Play

• Learn ideas to share with a child’s caregiver on how to set up, conduct, and end Special Play sessions

About the Presenter

Katie has been working with children and families for over 23 years with Healthy Families in La Crosse, WI. Healthy Families serves overburdened families with children; starting prenatally and ending when the child goes to school. Katie provides home visiting to families, serves as the clinical supervisor and program manager. As a graduate of the UW Infant, Early Childhood and Family Mental Health Capstone Certificate Program, Katie regularly integrates relationship based practices into her day to day work.
