Pyramid Model Institutes
A Pyramid Model Institute is a structured training and professional learning opportunity designed to help early childhood professionals understand and implement the Pyramid Model framework. Offered through organizations such as the National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations and the Wisconsin Pyramid Model initiative, these institutes provide education, coaching, and practical strategies that support the social and emotional development of young children. Participants learn how to build nurturing relationships, create supportive learning environments, and use targeted or individualized practices when children need additional support. The goal of a Pyramid Model Institute is to build the knowledge and skills of educators, leaders, and teams so they can effectively apply the Pyramid Model in early childhood programs and improve outcomes for children and families.
